Photographing Bears

This young Teton Grizzly is emblematic of my photographic relationship with bears - it’s a cool shot, but he’s sad, because I am still chasing flagship, wall-hanger bear shots (of any species). Anyways, here is what I do have, and one day I’ll capture some majestic Brown Bear dripping with water snarling at a Salmon, or something.
Blurry Cinnamon Black Bear (sow), Yosemite National Park
One of the first bears I ever photographed! I was out looking for owls in Yosemite when this sow and her cubs popped out. I had just purchased an entry-level DSLR and I did not know anything about photography, including tips and tricks for auto-focus when nerves are high, and handling heat distortion in harsh sun.
